Research Center for Values and Culture of Beijing Normal University was founded in January, 2000. In November ,2000 it was approved as one of the key research institutes in Humanities and Social Science in Chinese University.It includes two First Level Discipline : Philosophy and Marxism theory.
There are four research sections in the center: theory of value,Comparison of Chinese-west Culture,Social Development and Cultural Management,and Youth Values Education.
The present director of Center is Professor Zhen HAN and the vice-director is Professor Shuguang ZHANG.
